True Knight Academy was established to empower students with special needs in a Christ-centered environment. Our mission is to give them greater purpose and the opportunity to reach their potential socially and academically. In honor of Sammy, we have created SAMMY’S SCHOLARSHIP FUND.
Sammy’s Story
Every morning, Sammy greets me (Charlene) with a warm “good morning” and gives me a hug and a kiss. He always asks, “Will today be another beautiful day to be alive?” The same routine repeats every night before bed as Sammy asks, “And will tomorrow be another beautiful day to be alive?”
Raising children, as we all know, can be one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences in life. But for families with a child with special needs, it becomes an even more unique and rewarding journey.
